From the Pastor Welcome to Christ Central Church! The Bible is filled with stories of calling and new beginnings. From Abraham’s call to covenant and new relationship with God to the disciples’ call to spread the good news to the ends of the earth, God has led people to follow Him down new paths of discipleship. Thus, God’s Word reminds us that for those who place their lives in the hands of the Living Lord, new adventure is sure to follow. On June 15, I began an awesome new journey in my life. I was appointed to serve at Christ Central Church in Rainbow City, AL. Christ Central is a wonderful United Methodist Congregation seeking to know, grow and go in the love of God found in Jesus. My prayer is that this truly will be a great adventure in God’s leading and calling to make disciples for Jesus Christ. Reynolds’s Biography: Sherri Reynolds is a native of Centre, Alabama. She is a graduate of Jacksonville State University and Candler School of Theology at Emory University.
